An A5 blank spiral bound notepad showing ‘The Girls We Left Behind Us’ by Thomas Jones Barker. This evocative oil painting from the Museum Collection depicts a Troop of the 11th Hussars bidding farewell to their loved ones as they prepare to embark for service in India in 1866. They did not return until 1878!
